Statement: "Art has always been a part of my life. As a child I would spend hours copying my father's drawings and his numerous fantasy comic books beginning a life long fascination with technique and form. I went on to earn a BFA in
Painting from Shepherd University and while there studied outside of school with Ben Summerford, former Art Chair at American University. After graduating I discovered and enrolled in Schuler's School of Fine Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Teaching the strict techniques and fundamentals of the Dutch Masters Schuler's opened my eyes not only to the expressiveness of art, but to it's study. My paintings hang in
universities, court houses, and private collections throughout the country. I am represented in galleries in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and
